Dynamos Football Club head coach Kelvin Kaindu remains optimistic about his team’s chances of surviving relegation from the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League.

Last league fixtures, saw Kaindu guiding is side to a 3-0 win over bottom-placed Kwekwe United last Sunday.

The emphatic victory at the weekend marked DeMbare’s fourth win of the season and their second consecutive triumph—providing a much-needed boost to the club’s survival hopes.

Despite, occupying 17th position on the log with 22 points, Kaindu believes his side will avoid the drop.

“It’s a good win for us,” Kaindu said. “It wasn’t an easy game. But to score three goals, considering how difficult it’s been for us this season, is something we can build on.”

Kaindu, who previously coached Zimbabwean giants Highlanders, took over at Dynamos last month. The Zambian tactician expressed satisfaction with how well the squad has responded to his leadership, highlighting improved possession play, confidence, and team chemistry.

“I’m happy with how we’re circulating the ball, the confidence we’re building, and how the players have embraced me,” he said. “This is probably the first time the team is winning four consecutive games, and it shows that we still want to fight.”

Kaindu added that recent performances are a clear signal that the club is moving in the right direction.

“Getting three points away from home is a big plus and gives us belief that survival is still possible. The gap between us and the teams above us was big, but this result gives us a slight advantage” Kaindu added.
