Zambian defender Chitoshi Chinga has continued getting valuable game time at Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League side CAPS United in the 2026 season.
With the league still in its early stages, Chinga has played all three matches for the Green Machine, who are leading the table following a perfect start to the season.
Makepekepe has won their three with 1-0 scorelines, with Chinga playing all three matches.
Speaking to BolaNews from his base in Zimbabwe, Chinga states that the league looks competitive, as most clubs have invested in their playing personnel.
“This season the league is very competitive because teams have invested a lot and got good players, so it’s a very competitive and interesting season,” he said.
Asked how he has managed to play all three matches in a space of 12 days, Chinga attributes it to the plan devised by the club’s medical team, who have been working round-the-clock to maintain the good physical shape.
“I’m just following the doctor’s instructions and doing ice baths, and knowing what to eat also plays a big role, and the coach knows exactly what to do and what type of training to give us to make sure we’re ready for the games”
Chinga says the team is taking the match as it comes, with their next set to be against Kelvin Kaindu’s Hard Rock FC at home.
“The mood has been high in the team even before we kick started the season, and we’re just taking a game at a time and leaving the future to God,” he concluded.
