Emmanuel Zulu, chairman for Nkana supporters has hailed the club’s decision to extend captain Harrison Chisala’s contract, keeping him at the club until 2028.
On Monday, Nkana revealed that Chisala has committed his future to the 13 – time Super League champions.
Zulu has told Bolanews in an interview that the club has done well to tie down one if its best players.
“The intent of any club is seen by its ability to keep its best players,” Zulu said, “Chisala is one of our top players and the fact that he has signed an extension, it shows that the club is ambitious,”
Meanwhile, the player, quoted by the club media said he is happy to remain at the club.
“I am really happy to have signed a new contract with Nkana Football Club. Extending my stay here means I continue to be part of a big Kalampa family which is hungry for success and wants to do better every game,” Chisala said.
Chisala has been at the club since 2015, winning one ABSA Cup and the Super League.
