Following their return to domestic football, Zesco United are still searching for their first win since qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup, after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Green Buffaloes on Sunday.
Zesco took the lead in the 28th minute through Solomon Sakala, but Christopher Kumwenda restored parity for Buffaloes in the 66th minute. The hosts completed the comeback in the 79th minute when Chilimba Moonga converted from the penalty spot.
The defeat followed a 1-0 loss to Napsa Stars on Thursday, marking two consecutive away defeats for Zesco in domestic action since their continental qualification.

The result was also a relief for the Buffaloes, who picked up their first win in six matches, climbing to ninth place with 15 points from ten games.
