Here are the players that put up outstanding individual performances in the Zambian Super League week 33.
Goalkeeper
Ian Otieno (Zesco United) – The Kenyan international was instrumental for Zesco especially in the second half, denying Lameck Kafwaya twice from well-taken efforts by the Nkana forward.
Defenders
Chilimba Moonga (Green Buffaloes) – The skipper saved Green Buffaloes from what looked like a barren draw against Buildcon FC as he scored the only goal of the match. Solid and quality leadership from Moonga in a match Team Kopala played their hearts out!
Cedric Djeugoue (Forest Rangers) – He was solid at the back and could have scored in the first half though he managed to put the visitors in the lead from a header. He will feel hard done by the penalty conceded in the dying minutes despite an overall good performance.
Luka Banda (Napsa Stars) – The towering defender was vital in cutting supply to Forest strikers. He was a threat to the Forest defense from set pieces and he made a significant block from Cedric’s shot in the 26th minute to keep Napsa Stars in the match.

Midfielders
Kelvin Kampamba (ZESCO United) – Another impressive performance, Kampamba’s goal was the difference between his current and former clubs. He was a bit unlucky to not get a brace as he missed some chances. He orchestrated attacking moves for Zesco in a tightly contested match.
Rickson Ng’ambi (FC MUZA) – The midfielder found himself on the scoresheet following a well-timed pass from Andrew Phiri before he stylishly beat the Zanaco FC goalkeeper. With pressure on the shoulders of the home side, Ngambi combined well with the rest of the midfield to seal qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup for the Mazabuka side.

Fredrick Mulambia (Power Dynamos) – A goal once again from the midfielder. He was heavily involved in the second goal, combining well with Joshua Mutale to set up Thomas Chideu.
Joshua Mutale (Power Dynamos) – A handful to the defenders, providing two assists and surely involved in all the goals on the day for the Zambian Super League champions. His performance deserved a goal but it could not come through as he only registered assists and received a standing ovation from Power fans.

Forwards
Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba (Kabwe Warriors) – A brace on the day for Aka and leading Warriors into a comfortable home win. The attacker was a wow for the Kabwe side.
Thomas Chideu (Power Dynamos) – The Zimbabwean striker could have scored three on the day but would be satisfied with the two goals. He proved again his goal ability with a well-placed long-range strike in for the Champions.
Djo Ntambwe (Kansanshi Dynamos) – Djo scored a brace that surely sealed Kansanshi Dynamos’ status in the Zambian Super League and also put Nchanga Rangers’ campaign in the balance. Good performance overall to warrant him a chance to score twice.
