Red Arrows will host the Mufulira Wanderers in a Week 22 fixture at Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday.

The Airmen enter this game full of confidence after defeating Trident FC 1-0. Meanwhile, Mufulira Wanderers will look to continue their good form after thumping Zanaco 5-0 last time out.

During a pre-match press conference on Friday morning, Arrows head coach Chisi Mbewe stated that his team is prepared for Wanderers and is not under pressure.

“Our preparations are going so well; every player is okay; there are no injuries in the team. The team looks set and focused and there is a lot of competition among the players.

“We are not under any pressure; we know what we want as a team, and our focus is on the goals and targets set for this season,” he said.

Despite Wanderers’ recent form, Mbewe remains unconcerned, believing that each game is different.

“Each and every game is a different ball game, but for us, we are not Zanaco. What will be different will be the approach to the game. It won’t be an easy game but the boys are ready,” noted Mbewe.

Red Arrows, who defeated Trident 1-0 last weekend, lead the standings with 41 points after matchday 21. Wanderers, on the other hand, are ranked eighth with 28 points.
