Musadabwe Mwanza, a Nchanga Rangers football club defender, is upbeat about his team’s preparation for the forthcoming Zambia Super League season.
Last season, Mwanza was a key figure on the team, contributing three goals and several assists from the wings.
Graduating from the Young Nchanga Rangers, he has solidified his position in the starting lineup under head coach Robert Tembo.
Speaking at the team’s preseason workout, Mwanza said that the players are putting in a lot of effort to get off to a great start.
Mwanza adds that there’s a lot of positivity among the players who have reported for the preseason training.
“So far, so good. We are pushing; everyone is pushing. We have a positive mindset as a team,” Mwanza said.
The two-time Super League winners conquered the National Division One League last season to gain promotion to the top-flight league.
According to Mwanza, the team is determined to stay in the Super League and learn from past mistakes.
“The fans should be coming in numbers to support us; we will do our best because we will correct the mistakes we made in the previous season,” he concluded.
