Chipolopolo boys goalkeeper, Victor Chabu is targeting to help Nchanga Rangers finish in the top six of the Zambian Premier League table and avoid demotion from this Elite league.
Chabu played a key role in helping Brave Rangers bounce back to the Super League.
He also won the best Goalkeeper award in the 2024 ABSA Cup tournament which saw Nchanga eliminated in the semi-finals.
This season, Chabu has kept three clean sheets in eight league matches.
Victor Chabu told Bolanews in an interview that the team is working hard to ensure they finish in the top six in the league standings.
“My target with Nchanga Rangers is that we should finish in the top six in the first round. We are working hard so that we play ABSA. We want to avoid relegation,”he said.
“Our focus is to continue collecting maximum points in each game that we play,“added Chabu.
Nchanga sits 12th on the league table with nine points from 8 matches played so far.
Nchanga will face Green Eagles in their Week nine fixture at home, having registered a nil all draw away at Nkana during a mid week fixture.
