Kabwe Warriors broke their three-game losing streak after frustrating title contenders Red Arrows, while Trident Football Club extended their league winless streak to 14 games.

With Zesco United opening a four-point lead following a 3-1 win over FC MUZA, the Red Arrows had the opportunity to reduce the gap when they faced struggling Kabwe Warriors at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka, as the match ended 1-1.

The game came to life when substitute Ackim Phiri, who replaced Ebengo Ciel, found the opening goal after scoring a spectacular goal for Arrows.

There was also a 1-1 draw between Zanaco and Green Eagles when Isaac Shamujompa canceled out in-form striker Freddy Michael’s opener in the 18th minute.
