Bullets have finished with 60 points from 30 games, with Silver coming in second with 57 points from the same number of games.

Since 1986, the Bullets have won the league 17 times more than anyone else.

Silver is second with eight league titles, with the Mighty Mukuru Wanderers coming in third with six titles.

The last time the Wanderers won the league was in 2017 and since then, no team has snatched the title from the Bullets.

Their coach, Kallisto Pasuwa, despite the win, said it was a tough season with officials not helping his side, as they ended up playing more games in a few days.

“As you know, these boys played more games in a few days. Playing in the Champions League was a disadvantage to us as we ended up playing a lot of games, which was not healthy. You saw we had a number of injuries,” he said.

The league title is the second trophy for the Bullets this season. They won the FDH Bank Cup last month.

The Bullets are also in the Airtel Cup final following their 3-2 victory over the Blue Eagles last week.

Pasuwa says he is hoping his boys will keep delivering if they are properly managed.

“The problem is we are playing more games in a few games. Look, the past two weeks we played almost four games, which is not healthy for our players,” he said.
