FC MUZA suffered a 4-2 to defending league champions, Power Dynamos in a week 23 midweek fixture played at Arthur Davies Stadium.
The Mazabuka-based side came into this game high on confidence after beating Red Arrows 2-1 in their previous fixture at Nakambala Stadium.
The Elegant Dynamites kicked off the season on a good note but have been inconsistent in their previous fixtures, hence dropping out of the top four brackets.
The defeat saw FC MUZA drop to ninth place with 31 points from 24 games played so far.
Reacting to the result, FC MUZA coach Nowell Phiri said.
“First and foremost, coming to the game itself, it was a tough fixture for us playing away from home. Arthur Davies Stadium is not an easy ground to venture on; the referee was just too harsh on us, flashing yellow cards anyhow, and it disturbed our game plan” he said.
“Well, I think even Power Dynamos themselves will tell you that it wasn’t an easy, easy game for them. We just made a lot of mistakes in our game, but going forward we will never give up,” he added.
FC MUZA will host Mines United on Sunday in a Week 24 fixture at Mazabuka’s Nakambala Stadium.
