Zesco United winless run has persisted with the Ndola based side registered a goalless draw away at FC MUZA in a Week 11 fixture at Nakambala stadium on Saturday.
The nine-time Zambian Super League champions have now gone four games without a win, having lost three and drawn one match.
Despite having dominated play and creating chances, the Ndola-based side struggled to find the back of the net and settled for a draw.
The draw pushed Zega Mambo eleven points from nine matches played.
Speaking to journalists after the match, Zesco United interim head coach Emmanuel Siwale said a draw away from home was a fair result.
“We will take the point; what I would say was good about this is to break what we have gone through. This hasn’t been a very good trend, losing three games in a row. We missed pure chances; if those chances were executed well, we would have been talking about a different story,” he said.

“What is good is we are creating chances; what was not good was not putting the ball behind the net, so that is now our homework. A draw we will take it, but not the result we wanted,” noted the coach.
This Wednesday, Zesco will face Red Arrows in their rescheduled fixture.
