Reports reaching Bola News in Malawi are that Mufulira Wanderers forward Emmanuel Saviel wants to leave the club as the striker is seeking a termination of his deal.

Sources have revealed that the striker is not happy that he is not given game time, a thing affecting his progress.

The former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets player signed a three-year deal keeping him at the club from June 2024 to June 2027, but he is not happy to be at the club till next year.

Last year the player spent his season in Malawi as he was loaned out to Ekhaya FC. The loan agreement ended on December 31, 2025, and he returned to Lusaka in January this year. Since arrival the 21-year-old has not featured for Wanderers despite helping Ekhaya last season, scoring five goals and assisting seven goals in 14 games he played for Ekhaya.

A source close to the player said Saviel has since left Zambia for Malawi as he is negotiating to terminate his contract.

“In fact, as I am talking to you, the player is in Malawi. He is talking to his agents to terminate his contract with Wanderers. Matter at hand, it’s game time; he is not being used by his club despite him doing everything,” he said.

When BolaNews called the player, he confirmed that he is in Malawi, but he did not disclose why he is here.

Asked about the reports of him trying to terminate his deal, Saviel said he will comment on it later.
