Bolanews has learned that Ricky Banda will be returning to Red Arrows.

Earlier this year, Banda left Red Arrows to sign a six-month loan agreement with Al Merriekh.

Former Red Arrows Striker Milutin Sredojevic, who took over the team at the start of the season, brought the former Red Arrows Striker to the Sudanese team.

However, Banda’s future has been unclear since Micho left the Club in April, and he was unable to stay there.

Since joining them, he has only played in less than ten games and did not scored a goal.

Sources close to the player disclosed that Red Arrows is already in negotiations with Banda regarding his potential comeback.

“Ricky is on loan of course he has to return. Other clubs have expressed interest in him, but chances are high that he will return back to Red Arrows as talks have reached an advanced stage,”confirmed the source.

In the meantime, Banda’s return to the Airmen will give them more confidence as they look to return to playing competitive football the next season after losing the ABSA Cup and the 2024–25 Super League title, respectively.
