Malawian international winger Chifundo Mphasi believes Power Dynamos will go the distance and finish in the top two of the MTN Super League.

Over the weekend, Dynamos thrashed Zanaco 4-0, reviving their hopes of finishing in the top two of the league standings.

The Malawian scored his first goal in the 21st minute, giving the home side the lead.

The victory moved Dynamos to fourth place in the standings, with 36 points from 22 games played.

Last season, Mphasi had a good campaign, with Kabwe Warriors contributing eight assists and helping the team finish fifth in the league.

Mphasi said he is confident his new team, Dynamos will finish in the top two of the league standings.

“I am sure that Power Dynamos will finish in the top two of the league standings. We have a team that can deliver so I have no doubt that we will deliver at the end of the season,” said Mphasi.

He added, “All I want is to keep pushing and score more goals to help my team perform better this time around. I am putting in the hard work and I know it will pay off.

“If you look at how we played against Zanaco, the team looks motivated and we will continue with the same performance going forward.”

Mphasi and his Dynamos side will face Green Buffaloes in their next Super League fixture on Saturday.
