Nchanga Rangers have climbed to the summit of the Super League table following a 2-1 win over Mines United in Kabwe.
Rangers now have 12 points, one better than Zanaco, who are out of action until tomorrow when they host Kabwe Warriors.
George Lwandamina’s men took the lead in the sixth minute through Luzeka Sama to put Mines on course for their fifth league defeat.
In the second half, former under-17 striker Nicholas Mulilo leveled the score for Mines in the 59th minute.
Until the last six minutes, it looked like the game would end in a tie, but Miwza Siwale had the final say, scoring in the 84th minute to hand all three points to Rangers.
In other matches, Green Buffaloes played to a scoreless draw against Napsa Stars, while Red Arrows beat FC MUZA 1-0.
Green Eagles could only manage a 2-all draw against FC Leopards in what is the highest-scoring game of the weekend so far.
