Former Kabwe Warriors midfielder Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba is confident Mines United will maintain their Super League status despite failing to win any of their first three matches.

Mwachiaba joined the newly promoted side at the start of the season as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Kabwe Warriors.

The former Buildcon player has featured in all three games for Mines United and already registered one goal.

Speaking exclusively to BolaNews, Mwachiaba expressed optimism about the team’s progress.

“So far so good… a lot of very young players without much experience in the Super League, but they are adapting very fast which is good,” he said.

“I am trying by all means to teach them and show them the little I know and so far so good honestly,” added Aka

Meanwhile, Mines United are still chasing their first victory in the top flight on their debut Super League campaign. Last weekend, the newcomers held defending champions Power Dynamos to a goalless draw at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.
