Mutapa anticipates tough match against Red Arrows

Power Dynamos has not beaten Red Arrows in their last four meetings, and Mutapa believes Saturday's match will be difficult.

Power Dynamos FC head coach, Oswald Mutapa, has said facing Red Arrows will be a daunting task.

The Kitwe side will play Red Arrows at Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday in Week 19. Their first meeting of the season ended in a 0-0 draw. Power Dynamos has also failed to beat Arrows in their last four meetings.

Following the league’s three-week break, Power will be eager to get back to winning ways after showing some inconsistency in the first round of the season.

“It’s a tough game that we are going to have, but I think looking at the way we played in the first round against Arrows, it was a tough game. We have the players that have come back; we have a full team,” Mutapa said.

He added: “Pressure is part of the game; it’s how you take it and I think we have the players. Like I said earlier, we have the players that are back and the players feel strong when you have key players back and hopefully we apply ourselves well tomorrow.

“It’s about the attitude and the determination to go all the way. This is a team that can beat any other team on a given day as long as we apply ourselves very well. We can create a lot of chances; we just need to bury the chances we are creating and defend as a team.”

Mutapa will hope his side bounces back into the top four of the league standings.  They are in sixth place, with 29 points from 18 matches, having won eight, drawn five, and lost five matches.
