Kansanshi Dynamos has announced Boyd Mulwanda ’s dismissal following a run of bad results this season and the trainer has taken little time to react to the club’s decision.

After 58 matches in charge over a period of two seasons, Mulwanda has been shown the exit door for what the club termed as “a poor run of results since the beginning of the season.”

Mulwanda has said in an interview that he has no hard feelings against the club following the latest decision.

“No, there are no hard feelings; the situation is as it is; the club has made a decision and I respect the decision. It is time to move on,” Mulwanda said.

Asked about his next move, Mulwanda said, “At the moment, I want to spend time with my family in Lusaka; then we will see what happens.”

The former Buildcon coach will not be short of suitors. With the league approaching midseason, most clubs may just fail to resist the temptation of pulling the trigger on their coaches.

Mulwanda leaves Kansanshi with a decent record of 21 wins, 14 defeats, and 23 stalemates since he joined them at the start of last year.

His biggest failure could have been his struggle with moulding a competitive team despite the club having some household names like Jesse Were, Dave Daka, Bruce Musakanya, and Ronald Kampamba, among others.
