Nchanga Rangers defender Sydney Kasanda believes his team is ready to stage a strong performance in the 2025/26 Zambian Super League season.

Kasanda joined Brave Nchanga Rangers last season from FC Muza. However, the defender struggled for form for the Chingola-based side.

In an exclusive interview with BolaNews, Kasanda said the team has prepared enough for the season.

“It’s a new season and we have set targets as a team and we will make sure we achieve them because we are prepared,” he said.

“We are ready for greater things. I will not point out the position where we will finish, but we want to compete. We have been training hard for the upcoming season, and I can assure you we are ready to deliver,” added Kasanda.

Nchanga Rangers finished 11th in the MTN Super League and will be hoping for an improved performance this season.

They will open their 2025/26 campaign against Mutondo Stars on Saturday at the Nchanga Stadium in Chingola.
