Zambia’s MTN Super League side, Kansanshi Dynamos, on Monday confirmed the signing of Malawian attacking midfielder Francisco Madinga from Mighty Wanderers.

The 26-year-old refused to extend his stay at Wanderers after his contract expired two weeks ago and has now joined Dynamos on a two-year deal.

“Kansanshi Dynamos FC is thrilled to unveil Malawian international Francisco Madinga, who joins the Mabanga Boys on a two-year deal as a free agent. The versatile forward, capable of playing on both wings and as a supporting striker, is set to add depth and firepower to our 2025/26 MTN Super League campaign,” Dynamos announced.

Speaking to BolaNews, Madinga expressed delight at making the switch to Zambia, saying Kansanshi showed genuine commitment to securing his signature.

“I am happy that I have joined Kansanshi today. It is a big club and I am happy. I cannot promise more, but people will see on the ground once I start playing with my colleague.

“When I refused to extend my contract with Wanderers, a lot of clubs approached me but I decided to come here because they were so serious about having me,” he said.
