Kabwe Warriors Football Club is set to announce the signing of Kenyan international striker Eric Otieno as a free agent from Tusker FC.

After his contract with Tusker FC expires, Otieno will most likely join the Warriors as a free agent.

The former Tusker FC striker scored three goals last season, contributing significantly to the team’s second-place finish and qualification for continental football.

According to Bolanews sources, the Kenyan striker has already arrived in the country and is training with Kabwe warriors.

It is also understood that he has already said goodbye to Tusker FC following the expiration of his contract.

Warriors are in the western province for pre-season training as they prepare to face the Red Arrows in the 2024/25 Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield on August 10 at the Levy Mwanawansa Stadium in Ndola.

Numba Mumamba’s side, who failed to finish in the MTN Super League top four last season and lost the 2024 ABSA Cup final to Red Arrows, are aiming to start the new season strong and actively seeking new players.
