Zambian Premier League manager Brian Mulenga has warned teams that their continued refusal to use Nakambala stadium locker rooms at FC Muza will not be tolerated.

MTN Super League leaders Power Dynamos were the most recent team to boycott using the stadium locker room.

Bolanewsunderstands that teams have been shunning the locker rooms due to fears that MUZA FC has implanted magical charms in them that make it difficult to beat them.

There are suspicions that there is a magical spell at the stadium which is influencing the outcome of matches.

Some players, who requested anonymity, claimed that using the Nakambala locker rooms caused them to perform poorly on the pitch.

“It’s not a rumor; many of us have experienced it.” You can’t tell me that we’re all just being superstitious. “There is juju bosses in that dressing room,” Bolanews was told in a phone interview.

Meanwhile, Muza CEO Joe Kabika has described the allegations as “mare mind games” intended to distract them.

He wondered why the FAZ match commissioners had not yet reported if their locker rooms had any issues.

“As the CEO of the team, I don’t know why they refuse to use our dressing room. The rules are straightforward, if you find out that the dressing room is too small for you, there is the match commissioner and referees, and they will make the judgment,” said Kabika. “But what do the referees and match commissioners say about our dressing room?”

Kabika said his club has written on numerous occasions to FAZ, and teams have continued to get away with it.

“We have written (to FAZ) and people have gotten away with it, so we are just concentrating on playing. Whether somebody will come up dressed in the plantation or whatever, we won’t even mind,” he said

He also denied allegations that they have cast a magical spell in their locker rooms to influence the outcome of matches by weakening their opponents.

“We are in this era at FC Muza, and we don’t appreciate what other people are saying or suggesting as to why they are not using the dressing room.”

FC Muza are currently third in the league standings and have maintained their excellent form.

On Saturday, they will travel to Chingola to play the Nchanga Rangers at Nchanga Stadium in a Week 22 match.
