The Zambian Super League stage is one that constantly delivers cracking goals and decisive net-bulging moments. However, when the goals run dry, the onus is on the men at the back to keep the opposition at bay.

The weight rests heavier on the goalkeepers, the team’s last line of defence, to keep shutouts and grind positive results in low-scoring affairs.

BolaNews counts down on the list of shot-stoppers with the most clean sheets in the 2024-25 Zambian Super League.

5. Victor Chabu (Nchanga Rangers): 9 clean sheets

Despite Nchanga Rangers flirting with relegation this term, Victor Chabu has tallied an impressive nine clean sheets this season. Chabu will be banking on his exploits in the Zambian topflight to earn him a starting role in the Chipolopolo Boys setup.

4. Charles Lawu (NAPSA Stars): 9 clean sheets

Scoring the third fewest goals in the Zambian Super League, NAPSA Stars have relied on their defensive acumen this campaign. Charles Lawu has only conceded one goal in six matches this year, keeping the Tangala Boys unbeaten in 2025.

3. Charles Kalumba (Red Arrows): 11 clean sheets

The Copper Bullets shotstopper will be looking to defend his crown as the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in the Zambian Super League. His record of 17 shutouts last season propelled Red Arrows to the league title. Kalumba currently stands on eleven for this campaign.

2. Lukas Mainza (Nkwazi): 11 clean sheets

Mainza has been one of the standout players in the Zambian topflight in 2024-25, keeping 11 clean sheets. Despite his outstanding performances, he was axed from Zambia’s provisional squad for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

1. Mangani Banda (Kabwe Warriors): 13 clean sheets

Banda has been in the sort of form that saw him emerge as the best goalkeeper at the 2017 U20 Africa Cup of Nations. The November BolaNews Fans’ Player of the Month award winner has kept a league-high 13 clean sheets in the Zambian Super League this season.
