Willard Mwanza Reveals Seasonal Targets With Power Dynamos

From 19 matches for Power Dynamos, Mwanza kept 11 clean sheets and only conceded 8 goals the entire season.

In order to secure a transfer out of Zambia for the upcoming season, Power Dynamos goalkeeper Willard Mwanza says he wants to demonstrate his abilities in the CAF Champions League Competition.

Meanza, had a fantastic season last year, helping the team win their eighth league championship and earn qualification in the CAF Champions League.

He won the 2025 Golden Gloves award beating Chipolopolo Boys goalie, Toaster Nsabata and Lukas Mainza. 

From 19 matches, he kept 11 clean sheets and only conceded 8 goals the entire season.

In an exclusive interview with Bolanews, Mwanza said he is targeting to reach the group stages of Champions League and represent Chipolopolo boys at the CHAN tournament. 

“First of all I want to help my team defend the league, secondly I want us to reach the group stages of CAF. I also want to be part of the CHAN squad and the Africa Cup so that I can represent the Country in the World Cup Qualifiers,”he said. 

“I also want to work hard so that I can play for any team outside the Country,”added Mwanza. 

In the meanwhile, Power Dynamos will face former league champions, Red Arrows in their opening match.
