FC MUZA midfielder Given Kalusa has said that the best is yet to come from him after he was named the young player of the year in the 2025/26 season.

Kalusa told Bolanews in an exclusive interview that it was a big motivation for him to be named the young player of the just-ended season.

Kalusa said his award calls for more hard work.

“It feels good for me to win the award; it meant a lot for me and my family. I am sure my mum is proud of this achievement,” Kalusa said.

Looking at the players he was pitted against, Kalusa said he was not expecting to win it.

“I was not expecting it but it was all about God’s work,” he said.

He said the fans should expect a better season from him.

“The same performance, more consistency from where I had left it this season,” Kalusa said.
