Newly signed Konkola Blades striker Clive Biyeta has promised to score more goals for his new side, during the 2025-26 Super League season, which kicks off this weekend.

Biyeta joined Sharp Razor in July, 2025 after spending four years at Mufulira Wanderers, one of Zambia’s decorated sides.

At Shinde, he was the club’s top scorer for two seasons, 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, with over 25 goals.

During the 2022-2023 National Division One league, he was top scorer with 22 goals and with 8 assists, helping Mufulira Wanderers secure promotion to the Super League.

Speaking in an interview with the club’s media, Biyeta is hopeful ahead of the new season.

“So far we are working together very well; the guys are good and have welcomed me very well, so I am very happy we are working together. I am here to help the team achieve more to ensure they score more goals. I will make sure we work together with my teammates to help the team perform better,” he said.

Konkola Blades will face Kansanshi Dynamos in the season’s opener, the Charity Shield at the Levy Mwanawasa before facing Zesco United in their opening fixture of the Zambian Premier League.
