Chifundo Mphasi, Malawian international striker says he is ready to help Kabwe Warriors return to continental football as his team fights for a top two league finish.
The Zambian Super league resumes on Saturday with an early kickoff match between Kabwe Warriors and Napsa Stars following a one-month layoff.
Before the recess, Warriors who went eight games without losing a match struggled in their early stages of the season and will be hoping to maintain winning ways.
Mphasi, came to the Magnificent People’s squad from Shamuel Academy at the start of the 2023–2024 season on a season-long contract.
This season, the youthful midfielder has made 17 appearances and contributed 6 assists.
In an exclusive interview with Bolanews, Mphasi said the team is ready and will fight to qualify for the continental football.
“We are ready as well I think we take Napsa as any big team you know we want to play Continental so every game we need to take maximum points to achieve what we want” said the Malawi international.

“Nothing much, but I just want to push than first round to help my team, if possible, to achieve what we want as a team,” he added.
