On Sunday, Green Buffaloes and Kansanshi Dynamos will square off in a week nine match at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

Kansanshi enters this game with confidence after their previous encounter, a 1-1 tie with Zesco United.

On home ground, the Green Buffaloes will aim to maintain their strong play after their recent spectacular performance that saw them win two straight games.

Head coach Boyd Mulwanda urged the players to repeat their performance from last week and secure their first victory in Lusaka this season in remarks made to the Club’s media prior to the game.

“Going into the Green buffaloes match the expectations are very high when you look at the way we played against Zesco last week the performance was good going into this game it will motivate the boys to work extra hard. We are looking forward to getting a first win in Lusaka,” said Mulwanda.

Although he is aware of their opponents, the former Buildcon coach thinks the team is capable of completing the objective.

“We will approach our opponents very cautiously they have won two times in a row which is motivating to them, but that should not scare us we have done our part we are going to do our best and get a positive result. There is no time to relax the boys need to be alert, buffaloes can cause an upset looking at how they have performed in the previous games, “concluded Mulwanda.

With eight points, Kansanshi is currently in 13th place in the league rankings. A win would inspire the visitors to move up the standings.
