Eden University Women’s Super League side ZISD FC have completed the permanent signing of prolific Malawian striker Tendai Sani from FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, the Malawian club has confirmed.
“FCB Nyasa Big Bullets can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Zambian outfit ZISD Football Club for the permanent transfer of midfielder Tendai Sani,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
The 20-year-old sensation had an explosive 2024/25 campaign in the Goshen Football Association of Malawi Women’s League Southern Region, netting 65 goals in just 18 appearances, a record-breaking feat that earned her a spot in the league’s Best XI and a nomination for Female Footballer of the Year.
“The 20-year-old Malawian international departs after a successful two years in red and white, during which she blossomed into one of the country’s most promising talents,” the club’s statement added.
Sani’s arrival comes as a major boost for the Lusaka-based outfit, who endured a difficult 2024/25 season. They narrowly avoided relegation following the departure of star striker Namasiku Lungowe to Nchanga Rangers Queens in January and the resignation of head coach Enala Phiri.
With the 2025/26 season scheduled to kick off mid-next month, ZISD FC will be looking to rebuild around Sani, whose incredible eye for goal adds much-needed firepower up front.
