Newly signed ZANACO Ladies Football Club attacking midfielder Beauty Zulu has described her first match at the club as a dream start.

The Luyando Foundation product recently completed a 2-year deal with the sensational ladies and helped them record their first win of the season on her debut, in which she scored a brace last Saturday.

Zanaco thrashed Nchanga Rangers Queens 5-0 at Sunset Stadium to bag their first three points of the season in a Week 7 encounter.

Zulu comes to the team with a track record of producing assists and scoring goals. During her time at Luyando Foundation in their inaugural Women’s Super League season, she scored 11 goals and contributed 20 assists.

She scored eight goals straight from free kicks, two headers, and one from open play out of the 11 total.

Zulu was named Luyando Foundation’s Midfielder of the Season the previous year and finished as the team’s leading scorer.

Her versatility as a right-back makes her addition to the ZANACO Ladies lineup expected to have a positive effect on the team.

“I’m happy to score two goals on my debut, and I’m settling in well,” Zulu reacted after scoring on her debut. “It was a tough match because the last few games we have dropped points, and this was our first win.

“I was confident that I would score from the way I trained before the match. The goals will boast my confidence, as I also have the desire to do even more.”
