The 2023-24 UEFA Champions League draw took place on Friday, with defending champions Manchester City facing record winners Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Los Blancos, the 14-time champions, will look to avenge their semi-final loss to City last year, which was 5-1 on aggregate.
Barcelona will face Paris St-Germain (PSG), who are chasing their first Champions League title, while Atletico Madrid will face Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, giving all three Spanish teams a chance to reach the semi-finals.
Arsenal has returned to the quarterfinals for the first time in 14 years, where they will face six-time champion Bayern Munich.
Bayern last met the Gunners in the last 16 in 2017, winning 10-2 on aggregate. They also won the last three meetings, all by a score of 5-1.
The path to the semi-finals was also determined, with City and Premier League leaders Arsenal facing off if they advance ahead of Madrid and Bayern.
