In Serie A action tonight, Salernitana will host a troubled Juventus side, whose chances of securing European football are dwindling at the Stadio Arechi.
Following a 3-3 draw against sixth-placed Atalanta and a 2-0 home defeat to Monza last week, Juventus has been slow to recover from a 15-point deduction they suffered over a breach of financial rules in their transfer dealings.
Except for a 1-0 victory at this same venue in 1999, the hosts have gone winless in their six previous Serie A meetings with the visitors, drawing twice and losing four times, including a 2-0 defeat last season.
Salernitana appears to be struggling defensively, having conceded in all their last nine league games, which may pave the way for Juventus to get back on track.

Juventus are also winless in their last four Serie A games and have conceded 11 goals in their last five.
In their previous three matches against Salernitana in all competitions, the visitors have scored at least two goals.
Salernitana will go above Juventus in the league standings if they win tonight as they are sitting 16th with 21 points, while Juventus is 13th with 23 points.
