Sakala appeared in 91 games with Rangers, scoring 24 goals and assisting on 15 others. During his stint at the club, he also won the Scottish Cup.

“From the very first day, you embraced me as one of your own, making me feel like I belonged here, and that sense of belonging has been the driving force behind my performances on the pitch,” he further wrote.

Sakala joined Rangers from KV Oostende in 2021 and has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Rangers manager Michael Beale confirmed on Friday that the Zambian rapid forward is in “talks with a Saudi club.”
