Prison Leopards Football Club chairman Bob Shaloba has praised the players for their outstanding performance in the first round of the National Division One League.

The team’s strong performance earned them a spot in the 2025 Absa Cup, where they will compete among the three other clubs from the National Division One League and seven from the MTN Super League.

The Correct boys finished the first round of the league with 33 points, placing third.

Chairman Bob Shaloba congratulated the players for their strong performance in the first round while cautioning them not to relax.

“I am delighted with the team’s achievement in the first round; qualifying for the Absa Cup is a significant milestone. But it’s not time to relax. We must keep our heads up and focus on achieving our primary objective for the season-earning promotion back to the Super League,” said the club chairman.

The Leopards are looking to maintain their fine form in their quest to earn promotion to the Super League.
