Indeni Football Club head coach Keegan Syabeene says their instant target will be to quickly bounce back to the Zambian Premier League next season.

The Ndola based side failed to impress after winning promotion to the Super League following a poor display of results in the Super League.

Indeni will seek to stage a strong performance in the National league to ensure they rapidly bounce back to the Super League next season.

Speaking to the Club’s media, Syabeene believes the team is ready to fight for promotion this season.

“Obviously having dropped from the Premier league last season, our immediate objective is to reorganize ourselves, start on a good note and of course bounce back to the Premier league and push hard to compete in the ABSA tournament,”he said.

“Of course when we talk about pre-season and results we never want that to get to our heads because you know we could be in a situation whereby when the games begin its a different reality of course. Practice games give us ideas, but now the real games will give you the reality at hand, So I think we have pushed hard and ready for the game,”noted the Coach.

In the season opener, Indeni FC have registered a nil-draw away to Trident FC in their National Division One League campaign on Saturday.
