Responding to a press inquiry from BolaNews, Aguila FC is considering adding two or three players to the present squad.

The club has said that throughout the transfer window, attention would be given to the positions of striker, left back, and center defender.

“At this stage, we are not at liberty to state who, as discussions are ongoing. But I can at least say the positions we want to strengthen are center back, left back, and strikers,” the club said.

“Generally, the core of the team will remain the same, with maybe two notable additions,” the club’s media told Bola News.

Meanwhile, the club has not renewed the loan deal for Raphael Sakala from Police College Football Club.

Konkola Blades have formally reached out to Progress Mukuka, Aguila Stars defender, and he is expected to switch teams.

“We have official contact for Progress Mukuka, who might soon be concluding a move to Konkola Blades,” the club stated.

“Other notable departures will be Raphael Sakala’s non-renewal of his loan from Police College. We are also monitoring the situation with a few players who are absent without official leave.”
