Uzbekistan, who made history by qualifying for their first-ever FIFA World Cup, is one of six teams representing Asia.
Uzbekistan secured their spot following a goalless draw against the United Arab Emirates in the AFC qualifying competition on June 5, 2025. They join five other Asian sides: Iran, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, and Japan.
South America’s contingent includes three familiar powerhouses led by defending champions Argentina, record winners Brazil, and Ecuador.
No teams from Africa or Europe have clinched qualification, as both regions are still in the middle of their campaigns.
By November 18, 2025, European teams will know their fate. African qualifiers will end on October 16, 2025.
The list of qualified teams will continue to grow as the race for World Cup berths intensifies around the world.
