The two teams have met twice in the World Cup competition, with Brazil being dominant and winning both games (1-0 in 2006 and 3-1 in 2014) in the group stage.

Brazil is undefeated against Croatia in their four previous meetings in all competitions, and if Croatia manages to break that pattern, they will qualify for their third World Cup semi-final.

The South Americans head into this match high on confidence after defeating South Korea 4-1 to advance to the quarterfinals, while Croatia defeated stubborn Japan on penalties to progress to the last-eight round.

Brazil will be attempting to reach the World Cup semifinals for the ninth time, while Croatia, who have only conceded two goals so far, will be seeking to make their third appearance in the semifinals.

The Brazilians are aiming for their sixth World Cup title, while Croatia has never won a World Cup and will be hoping to qualify for the final and win their first.

The winner of the Brazil vs. Croatia match will face the winner of the Argentina vs. Netherlands match in the semifinals.

PREDICTION, BETTING TIPS, AND ODDS

Croatia came close to winning the World Cup in 2018 but lost to France and they are still wounded. They will head into this match with their guns blazing hoping to make it through the final for the second consecutive time. Brazil, on the other hand, has not won the World Cup in the last 20 years and will hope to beat the Croats to close in on a spot in the final.
