Erling Haaland has had an impressive debut season with Manchester city having netted in 58 goals which helped the Pep Guardiola’s side to retain the Premier league and reach the finals of the FA Cup and the Champions League.
The citizens signed Haaland from Borussia Dortmund last summer and his debut season has been a success.
Guardiola’s side face Manchester United at Wembley today, before facing Inter Milan in Istanbul for the chance to become the European champions for the first time in the history of the club.
Speaking prior to the game, Haaland also claims that the English premier League team signed him because of their historic treble victory.
“This is why they bought me of course, to get this, we don’t have to hide that, it would mean everything. I will do everything I possibly can to try to make it happen. It’s my biggest dream and hopefully dreams do come true.” he said ahead of today’s game against Manchester United.

“Of course, my life has altered; I can no longer lead a normal life. That’s how my life is; I can’t complain since I strive to savor every second of it, he remarked.

Erling Haaland has already earned the English premier League Footballer of the Season award and will now be focused on capturing a historic treble for the club. Haaland’s 37 premier League goals created a new single-season record, helping the citizens to surpass Arsenal and defend their crown.
Manchester city will take on their city rivals in Manchester United today in their FA Cup before playing Inter Milan in the UEFA champions League final next week.
