Liverpool will want to capitalize on their impressive performance in the  1-1 draw away to Manchester City in Premier League over the weekend by securing their place in the UEFA Europa League knockout rounds as Austrian side LASK visit Anfield tonight.

LASK make their trip to Anfield knowing that they need to claim a historic win in order to keep their qualification hopes alive. The Austrian side won in their domestic division over the weekend but face a stern test in this encounter at the Red’s home ground.

Liverpool will be without their number 1 goalkeeper Allison so Kelleher will take on the responsibility tonight in goal. Liverpool will also be without forward Diogo Jota after the Portuguese limped off at the Etihad.

Players to Watch

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) – Cody Gakpo will come back into the starting line-up in this game, especially as Diogo Jota left the field through injury last weekend. He may only have four goals in all the games he’s featured this season so far, but he should prove a difficult proposition for the LASK defence.

Robert Zulj (LASK) – Zulj is currently LASK’s best player so far this season with the teams highest rating. In the last 14 matches for his club, he has found the net 7 times and has 4 assists to his name. The team will be hoping he will be in his finest form in order for LASK to get the result they need in this game.
