Zambian striker Enock Sakala Jr says he is adapting well to life at Gulf United FC after completing his move to the club in the United Arab Emirates last month.
The forward has already made his first appearance in the top-tier league and marked his early stay with a goal as he begins his journey with the Emirati side.
Speaking to the club’s media, Sakala expressed optimism about his new environment, praising the facilities and the atmosphere at the club.
“I think the training sessions have been good. We’ve got good facilities here and everything has been good day by day. We’re trying to push to get better.”
The striker added that his focus is on personal development while helping the team grow stronger as the season progresses.
“As a player, as a person, I want to improve. As a team, we also want to improve. We need to take every day as it comes and hopefully we can get better every day,” Sakala said.

Sakala’s debut goal will be seen as an encouraging sign as he looks to establish himself at Gulf United.
