Newcastle United’s blistering start to the campaign sees them 5th on the log while Manchester United are a pertinent part of the title narrative.

Both teams’ quest to qualify for the Champions League remains alive.

Newcastle fans will hope their team can pull off a master class against Manchester United as it will act as some form of revenge following their loss to the Red Devils in the Carobao final.

Currently struggling for form, Newcastle has a record of two victories and three consecutive losses in their last five games.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have three victories, one loss, and draw in their last five games.

Newcastle are winless in six Premier League games against United (D2 L4), though the last two have both been drawn.

Man U have won more Premier League away games against Newcastle than any other side (14). However, they’ve lost two of their last five such visits (W2 D1), having lost just one of their previous 13 at St James’ Park.

Following their goalless draw at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture, Newcastle are looking to keep a clean sheet in consecutive Premier League games against Manchester United for the first time since May 1997.

The match kicks off this afternoon at exactly 17:30 CAT at St. James Park. Both teams have a chance to cement their positions in the top four brackets.

BETTING TIP: Try double chance for either team to win.
ODDS: 1.33
