Liverpool will be hosting a resurging Chelsea who have found their form on Wednesday night at Anfield in fixture 22 of the Premier league. Victory at Anfield would make Pochettino the first Chelsea manager to win 4 straight league games since Thomas Tuchel did it back in 2022.

The Reds will be buoyed going into this match having a lot of their key players returning from injuries. Some of them played a few minutes in their emphatic 5-2 win against Norwich in the FA Cup on Sunday. Chelsea will also be feeling very confident going into this game coming off a 3 game-winning streak.

The last seven meetings between Liverpool and Chelsea have all ended in draws in all competitions. This is the longest run of consecutive draws between two top-flight clubs in English football history. Klopp’s men have extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 10 games.

Filling in for Salah, he has been under the spotlight and has not disappointed so far in attack. Nunez will be a handful for the Chelsea defenders in this match; if he’s not scoring the goals he’s creating them.
