The 2024/25 English Premier League season came to a close on Sunday, with Liverpool lifting the trophy after a stellar campaign. Despite a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on the final day, the Reds had already secured the title and celebrated their triumph in front of an elated Anfield crowd.

Arsenal finished as runners-up for the second consecutive season, ending their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Southampton. While the result offered a positive note, it was another ultimately disappointing season for the Gunners, who again fell short of both the Premier League title and any major silverware.

Mohamed Salah finished his 2024/25 Premier League season as the player with the most goals (29) and assists (18). He has won the Golden Boot and Player Maker Awards.

The final round of fixtures was particularly thrilling due to the intense race for UEFA Champions League qualification. Manchester City, despite an underwhelming season by their standards, clinched third place after a solid 2-0 away win at Fulham.

Chelsea FC, defying expectations, secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest to book their place in next season’s Champions League. Newcastle United claimed the final automatic qualification spot, narrowly holding on despite a 1-0 defeat to Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur will also feature in the Champions League next season, having earned their place by winning the UEFA Europa League last week with a victory over Manchester United.
