Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has refused to talk about Madrid’s pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool FC.
Madrid who are currently defending their Champions League title had an offer rejected a few days ago and are now plotting to make a second bid reported to be around £20 million.
Ancelotti was speaking at a conference, and when asked about the matter responded: “It is difficult for me to talk about that in this context. But we are going to have to wait and see.
The England international right back has been a target for Madrid for the last couple of months now and would be a great acquisition for Ancelotti’s side after bringing in Kylian Mbappé last summer.
Trent’s contract runs out at the end of this season and he is yet to agree an extension with Liverpool after being with the club since he was just 6 years old in the academy.
