For Patson, it's been a roll coaster season for the Chipolopolo Boys striker who had quite a dismal start to life under Enzo Maresca.

Following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League last season, Patson Daka wrote in a tweet “It’s been weeks of reflection, but the feeling is still the same.”

“I’d like to thank the LCFC community whose unwavering support was the brightest spot during what was a challenging season. Leicester will rise again, until then, let’s keep our fighting spirit alive.”

In their first attempt, the Foxes have secured qualification back to the English Premiership. After Tuesday’s thumping 5-0 win over Southampton at home in which Daka made a cameo appearance in. This was cemented with Leeds United’s defeat at Queens Park Rangers on Friday.

This meant that Daka and co are comfortably in the division’s automatic promotion places, one season after dropping into the championship.

Leicester City, currently on 94 points, Enzo Maresca’s men could secure their eighth Championship title in a fashionable style.

For Patson, it’s been a roll coaster season for the Chipolopolo Boys striker who had quite a dismal start to life under Enzo Maresca. Despite rumors of several clubs expressing interest in the rapid forward, the Zambian forward stayed put at Leicester.

The former Kafue Celtics man has undoubtedly made noticeable strides up front in a stellar season for the foxes.
