Leicester City’s woes continued on Sunday as they lost 3-0 to relegation, battling Wolverhampton Wanderers at the King Power Stadium. Patson Daka did not participate in the action, watching on from the substitute’s bench as the Foxes sank closer to the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Kingstone Mutandwa, who made an appearance for Cagliari’s U20 team in midweek, was an unused substitute for the first team in their 2-1 defeat to Venezia in the Italian Serie A.

Kings Kangwa drops another brilliant performance in Israel

Southampton FC target Kings Kangwa had a decent showing in Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s barren stalemate with Bnei Sakhnin. He created the joint-most chances (3) and completed more accurate crosses (4) than any other player on the pitch.

In the Israeli second tier, Songa Chipyoka started for Hapoel Petah Tikva, who got back to winning ways registering a 1-0 victory at Hapoel Um El Fahem.

Mwepu benched, Gift Siame scores again

Francisco Mwepu was not summoned from the substitutes bench in Cádiz 1-1 draw with Almeria in La Liga Hypermotion.

Meanwhile, Zambian wonderkid Gift Siame doubled his scoring tally for Leganes U19, scoring the opener in an emphatic 4-1 triumph against La Cruz U19. The former Atletico Lusaka star has now scored two goals in his first four league games in the División de Honor Juvenil.

Peter Chikola was an 86th-minute substitute for Cádiz B, who beat San Fernando 1-0 in the Segunda Federacion.

Joshua Mutale features for Simba, Young Africans duo absent

Joshua Mutale came off the bench for 22-time Tanzanian champions Simba SC as they tore Kagera Sugar FC to shreds with a 5-2 win. Meanwhile, neither Clatous Chota Chama nor Kennedy Musonda took part in Young Africans SC’s 4-0 obliteration of Tanzanian Prisons FC.

Frankie Musonda misses Ayr United’s win, Copper Queens pair start in Turkey

Ayr United were without Chipolopolo defender Frankie Musonda as they downed rivals Livingston 1-0 in the Scottish Championship. Martha Tembo and Lushomo Mweemba made the starting XI for Hakkarigucu Spor, who lost 3-1 to Besiktas in the Turkish women’s topflight.

Long-term injuries kept dribbling wizard Lameck Banda and Copper Bullets skipper Lubambo Musonda out of US Lecce’s and 1.FC Magdeburg’s matchday squads, respectively.
