The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) released the third-generation KoPa kit on Thursday last week in Ndola, and it sold out almost immediately.
Several fans that hoped to buy the new jerseys found them finished in Ndola as they ran out of stock with over 350 replicas reportedly sold within two days.
FAZ president Andrew Kamanaga confirmed in his weekly column, “President Corner,” that the jerseys, which were selling for K500 each, had sold out.
“So far, the response we have received has been overwhelming with the initial consignment sold out,” Kamanga revealed.

Kamanga also stated that the association will roll out the kits across the country in the next few days.
“The consolidated stock will be rolled out across the country through widespread dealerships in the next few days,” he said.
Kamanga further urged the public to continue supporting ‘this local initiative” that has stood the test of time.
During the previous FAZ annual general meeting, he also revealed that the Kopa replicas fetched k2,700, 779 for the association.
The sale of the replicas helped them post a surplus of nine million, fourty-one thousand, five hundred and fifty thousand, one kwacha.
Zambia will use the KoPa kit at the Women’s World Cup in July this year and also at next’s AFCON.
