Lameck Banda, is expected to return to the Chipolopolo Boys lineup after recovering from an injury he suffered last November.

The US Lecce winger had surgery on his left ankle in December due to the severity of his injury.

In an exclusive interview with Bolanews, Banda is thrilled to be called to the national team.

“Happy to have fully recovered from the injury, I feel great, and I can’t wait to join the guys (national team). ”

Banda, who has already made two appearances for the Italian team this season, expressed his satisfaction at receiving more playing time.

“Every footballer just wants to play football. I am young, and there is plenty of room to grow.”

In order to maximize home advantage in the high-profile match, Banda emphasized the significance of going above and beyond.
